Sunshine Saturday!

Happy Saturday!  The boys are out tending to the weed patch....I mean lawn.  Lemon cookies in the oven for a neighbor...baby girl with socks...er "gloves" on her hands bringing all her toys into the kitchen...dishwasher running...thus is our morning:)  I am so thankful for the beautiful sunshine and the cool breeze as well!

This is a little birthday card I made a little while ago.  I love this card!  This paper is so me:)   I was trying to use up some of my stash, hence the image and the paper.  I think the layout was from an SCS sketch, but I can't remember which one now.

SU cardstock in Pretty in Pink and Rose Romance, Close to Cocoa
DP is from my scraps

Rockin' Birthday

Good morning!  I am so glad it's Saturday!  The boys are off at a Lowe's workshop, so it's just me and the girl here right now.  Although I'm thinking a nap is soon in order, lol!  As I was looking through my card stash the other day I realized I am really low on birthday cards, especially girly ones.  So I will be working on replenishing that!  (We have a large family and lots of April birthdays too!)

I used the sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday for this card.

Supplies:
Most are from a kit, but I added

Competing Princesses - March Kit

Hello and I hope you are all having a nice weekend!  This is my card I put together for this month's round of competing Paper Princesses.  Our blog group is having a 3-month "competition" where we take turns hostessing a round and send each member of our group the same card supplies to make a card and see what we each come up with.  It's really fun to see what we can all make using the same supplies and they are all so unique and different.  This round was my turn to hostess, and I put together a spring kit.  Melanie was the other hostess for this round, and we decided to use a sketch as the common theme.

Supplies:
PTI cardstock
DP - DCWV
misc brads
PTI felt and flower die
Image - Elyzabells colored with Copics
Gold Stickles
