Crafty Critter Challenge #24

So it's Monday and our first day of Spring break. Yay! Nothing planned really, and other than a Dr's appointment for the little one tomorrow, the week is pretty clear. Today we're hard boiling eggs to color tonight for Easter. DS is super excited because I found a Star Wars egg coloring kit.

Here is my card for our blog group's 24th challenge. It was a good one too!

The challenge is to make an easel card, plus use glitter, ribbons, layers and at least 4 colors.

Image is Magnolia colored in with Copic markers and highlighted with Stickles. Other supplies are SU border punch, Cuttlebug swirls embossing folder, Kaisercraft pearls, prima flowers and misc ribbon from WalMart. Paper is SU Pale Plum, Perfect Plum, Old Olive, Close to Cocoa and Mellow Moss.

Sunshine Sunday - Challenge Card

Good afternoon to you on this rainy Ohio Sunday (hey, it's better than snow!). It's my Sunshine day to post, and I'm excited to bring you this card for a challenge we are having over on SNR - there's 2 weeks to play, so be sure to pop over if you have time! You can even get this image for free to play with:)

Monkey Business

Good evening! Ah...finally the sound of children sleeping! Today was a long day - we had my sister's baby shower - and the little ones are in bed (and I'm headed there soon!).

I wanted to share this card with you. I think these Changito monkeys are adorable and I played around with the for a week or so before getting this card put together. I don't know why it took so long, but I found this sketch from the Pink Elephant, and it was perfect and finally came together. I'm also using this for this week's Pile it on Challenge - to use furry friends.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend a happy stamping!

Dreamy Day

Good morning! Today is going to be a busy day if I can get myself in gear! I have my sister's baby shower this weekend, and we are so far from being ready. At least the sun in shining and it's not raining today, so I can hopefully get a lot done.

I recently got some more Bildmalarna's from Paper Jewels (links on my sidebar!), and I love these stamps! They are adorable! I made this card just for me, and decided to enter it in a few challenges too:)

Papertake Weekly Challenge #37 - the sketch
Cupcake Craft Challenge #83 - food & drink
Paper Sundaes 10th Challenge - Paper Piecing (the bow and dress)
Corrosive Challenge #56 - Paper Piecing (bow and dress)

Tweet, Tweet!

Sorry to keep this short tonight, but I'm a little tired. My darling little boy decided to get up at 6 this morning, and not go back to bed. Thankfully, the house is all quiet now and both are sleeping!

Isn't he the tweetest little birdie? This is one of the new spring images from Sunshine's stamps. Check out the links on my sidebar for the store and blog:)

The sketch is by Tracey for Show and Tell cards Day 19.

Sunshine Sunday

It's a beautiful spring day here in Ohio! The sun is out and it is not yet raining. So I thought I'd stop by and share this post before heading outside with the fam.

For my Sunshine Stamps post this week, I decided to make a scrapbook page. I love the image Lenny Loader, and really wanted to showcase him on a page, and I couldn't help but thinking of these pictures from a couple years back of my son when Santa brought him his toolbench. I had a few scraps of the orange plaid/little terrors DP I have been saving, and they were perfect!

Sunshine Sunday

Hello! It's a rainy, cloudy Sunday afternoon. We didn't get to go to church today, but stayed home with a sick little boy. He's ok, just tonsilitis. I took advantage of the little one's nap to finish my Sunshine's Stamps card for the week. I decided to use Zsu Zsu for this week's card. Isn't she a funny little thing?

I entered this card in several challenges too:
Sweet Sketch Wednesday #40 - the sketch
Cupcake Craft Challenges #81 - use flowers
Pile It On Challenge #10 - pastel colors

Materials are image by Sunshine's Stamps colored in with Copic markers. Paper is SU Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink and Cameo Coral. Other supplies are Stickles, and the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder. All other supplies are misc from my stash.

Sunshine Sunday

Good afternoon! I'm so enjoying this beautiful sunshine beaming in through our windows! Happy March! Speaking of March, St. Patrick's day is coming up fast, so I wanted to bring you another creation with this cute Irish bunny. His name is Sean O'Hare and you can find him in the Sunshine Stamps store.

I decided to take a small break from cards and use him in a bookmark.

Supplies are image by Sunshine's Stamps colored with Copic markers and highlighted with gold Stickles and Martha Stewart glitter pens. Sentiment is an Irish proverb printed on cardstock. Paper is DCWV DP, SU Garden Green, Certainly Celery. Eyelet is from JoAnn's and cording is from SU.
