Baby Girl Layout

Good morning!  It's been quite a while since I've worked on a scrapbook, but I finally am back in the swing of things!  I was able to finish my son's 3rd year album about a year ago (yeah, I guess it has been a while!).  So now I am starting on my daughter's first year album.

I received this page in a swap - not sure who made it, but it is really cute!  I just added the pictures and the title and the butterfly at the bottom.  Gotta love those quick pages!

Just Love You Card

Hello again!  I hope you all are staying warm - it's been rather chilly here lately.  I think this morning we were in the negative wind chill.  BRRR!  So thankful for fleece and a good furnace!

I'm still using up some tags from my stash:)  Here is another card I put together using a tag.

I used Splitcoast sketch SC73.

Supplies (other than the tag) are SU paper in Rose Red, DCWV designer paper, misc red satin ribbon from my stash and Martha Stewart dots.

Sweet Birthday Wishes

Happy Wednesday! It's halfway to the weekend! Yesterday was my birthday. Sadly, I am officially into my 30's. Last year just scratched the surface, but now there's no turning back!

Here is another birthday card using an accent piece from my stash. I love this glittery little cupcake! I used sketch SC13 again on this - it's a good sketch.

Supplies are sentiment from PTI, SU cardstock in Pixie Pink, Close to Cocoa and Almost Amethyst. Ribbon and DP are from my stash. Swirled background is a Cuttlebug embossing folder.

Critter Monday - Color and Embellish Challenge

Good morning! I'm a little late today with my card for Critter Challenges. We had an unexpected trip to the ER Wednesday night for my daughter with the croup, followed by an unexpected 3 day hospital stay. But, we are thankfully all home now and she seems to be over the worst of it!

So here is my card for the Critter Sketch Challenge. This month's sponsor is the Stamping Boutique - they have SO many fabulous images too!

This week's challenge is a color and embellishment challenge. You need to use the colors blue and silver, and also use either rhinestones, pearls or both. That's it! Be sure to play for a chance at some freebies from the Stamping Boutique!

Supplies are SU cardstock in Bliss Blue, Brocade Blue, DCWV onyx. DP is also DCWV. Image is from the Stamping Boutique colored in with Copics and highlighted with Stickles. Sentiment is PTI Mega Mixed Messages. Pearls are Kaiser, and the embossing is a Sizzix embossing folder.

Birthday Cupcake

Hello! I've said before that I love all things cupcakes. Don't know why, but they're cute! I used another tag from my stash for the focal point of this card. I also used Splitcoast sketch SC13 for the layout.

Supplies are SU cardstock in Bliss Blue, Close to Cocoa and Chocolate chip. DP is from my scrap box. Solid eyelets are from the Eyelet Outlet. I also used Cinnamon Stickles on the cupcake.

Hugs and Kisses

Yes, it's a little early for Valentine's Day, but I love having little "lovey" cards around to sneak into my hubby's bag when he goes away for work. Thankfully that doesn't happen often, but I like to surprise him when he does!

Thanks to Melanie, I am using her great idea to use some pre-made tags to put together quick cards. I have bunches of tags from swaps that are just sitting there in my craft room, and I am not using them, so I will be sharing several cards (most of them pretty quick and simple) with some of the tags. This tag was really neat in that I think it was made out of paint chips!

I used the sketch from Cardabilities December 30 challenge.

Supplies are cardstock from DCWV and SU Ruby Red. I used a SU border punch, and some jewels from my stash. DP is also DCWV I had in my scraps.

Good morning! I can't believe it's January 3rd already! My boy is back in school today too. December fairly flew by I think! We're all ready to get back into our normal routines now.

It's time for another challenge over at Critter Sketch Challenge blog! I'm super excited, because I designed the sketch for this week too! Please be sure to play along if you have time - the Stamping Boutique is our sponsor this month, and they have some fabulous images (like the one on my card) and you can be entered into the drawing for some freebies if you submit a card.

Supplies are image by the Stamping Boutique colored in with Copics and crystal stickles. DP is DCWV and cardstock is SU Eggplant Envy and DCWV. Other supplies are nesties circle, punches, Stamping Bella dots, and misc ribbon from my stash.

Greetings out in bloggy land, and happy new year! We always have some family birthdays we celebrate on New Year's Eve as well, and this is a card I made for my uncle (one of whom we celebrated) that night.

I love the sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches and I think it worked well with this image.

Supplies are from a card kit, but I added black Stickles, and the DCWV shimmery onyx cardstock, and Real Red cardstock from SU. I used Nesties, Cuttlebug Swiss dots embossing folder, and the Creative Memories wave cutter also.
